Close windows from Mission Control.
Hover a window, click ✕ or press ⌘W. Minimize, full screen, hide or quit the same way.

What it fixes
What macOS gets wrong, and what Mission Boost does instead.
- Mission Control shows all your windows, but can't close one.Hover any window and click its close button.
- You leave Mission Control, find the window, close it, and go back. Again and again.⌘W, ⌘M, ⌘F, ⌘H and ⌘Q work inside Mission Control, on the window under your cursor.
- Cleaning up a messy desktop means a dozen trips in and out.Tidy up in one pass without leaving the overview.
Try it here
Point at a window and use its buttons, or press W, M, F, H or Q. The real app adds ⌘, which your browser keeps for itself.

A close button on the window you point at, plus minimize and full screen if you like.

Real shortcuts
The keys you already know, now in Mission Control.

Looks that fit
Five looks and three sizes, from classic macOS colours to pure black and white.

Light by design
About 11 MB of memory, idle until Mission Control opens.

The app that had the idea first deserves the credit.

The original close buttons and shortcuts for Mission Control. Mission Boost is my own take, written from scratch with a guided setup. The original is worth a look too.
Questions
Anything else? Email me.
Why does it need Accessibility access?
macOS only lets an app find and close the window under your cursor through the Accessibility permission. Setup walks you through it.
What happens after 14 days?
The app reminds you two hours before, then pauses until you enter a key. Your settings are kept.
Does it need the internet?
Only to start the trial, activate a key, and re-check the license about once a month. It sends a hashed machine id and the app version, nothing about what you do, and works offline for weeks.
I got a new Mac. Now what?
In Settings → License, click Release This Mac on the old one, then enter the same key on the new one. A Mac you no longer have can be released from any other Mac on the license.
Why isn't it on the Mac App Store?
Apple's App Sandbox blocks what these apps need to do. Downloads here are signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens them without warnings.
